A Powerful Evening of Veteran Stories, Shared Through Music
Not every story can be easily told, but every story deserves to be heard.

Encore Center for Performing Arts invites you to be part of a deeply meaningful community experience in Elmhurst.

Through a unique partnership with Freedom Sings USA, veterans will share their stories in a powerful and personal way. Working one-on-one with Grammy Award-winning and Grammy Award-nominated Nashville songwriters, their experiences are transformed into original songs, performed live for the community that same evening.

For many veterans, this process offers something difficult to find elsewhere. It creates a way to express what they have carried, without the pressure of speaking publicly. For those in the audience, it is an opportunity to listen, reflect, and connect in a way that stays with you long after the evening ends.
